i have the 60 gig but personlly i feel the extras i have ant really that good sure i use my card readers but i have them on my laptop and i have a card reader hub what only cost me £15 which i could prob connect to a 40 gig ps3 allso the backwards compatible is not without its flaws and you would be better sticking with your ps2

dude you have to buy a pre-owned ps3 then only the 60 will play them and even then its not 100% and the games it can play may have issues http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/bcG...0?locale=en_GB
that site will tell you about what works and what has touble playing to ps2 standed
