can the 4OG ps3 go on line using your tv. and wats the difference to a 4O and 60 i know 60 is more memory and can play ps2 games is there anything else?

yeah it has a browser for internet the 40 has 2 usb the 60 has 4 and the 40 doesnt have a cardreader either thats about it

what are the usb mainly used for? and whats the card reader for. when you brouse net can you get a keyboard to use

mainly for chargin the controls a card reader is for putting a memory card out of a camera or psp in and then looking at whats stored on it and yeah i'm pretty sure any usb keyboard works with it

lso use your usb slots for the wired singstar mics well you have too and the new ones are not out yet the ps3 singstar bundle comes with wired mics at mo.
also use them for noveltys you may have for your pc like i got a free ebay set of lights through for free at christmas for being a regular buyer and seller these plug into a usb port.
could you possibly in future use them for external harddrives??not sure.
but either way two is very limited you would also need one for the eye toy camera aswell i think.not sure bout new eye cam.
you could also connect your mp3 player via usb too.
in not expecting my 60gb model to go wrong i hope not i wouldhate to have one of the 40gb ones.
i know they have done it to make them more competitive price wise but why cant they have two options still.

ya could also buy a 4 port hub and i have an external hard drive through the usb

yeah nut it has to be fat32 file system, most windows pc use ntfs and ya can only format upto 32gb with xp, i have a 250gb hd that was in my pc before i upgraded and i had to get partition magic to format the hole drive
