Im so glad you turned up because I was starting to not know what I was saying
other things to consider if operating wirelessly...has you or a neighbour bought a dect cordless phone recently if so see if it transmits at 20MHz if so buy a new phone thats on a different frequency...this will reduce interference
are thier any new wireless signals in the area...when I first set up my network I was the only one in the neighbourhood now thier are loads...and all were broadcasting on the top channels....I just moved mine to channel 1 and my speed picked right up...again this was due to interference....I also bought a new router which actively scans the frequencies and sets the router to the one with the best signal ( least interference)
but to be honest more than likely the problem has been pin pointed new ISP...defo
I find cable the most reliable for online gaming in my area...ADSL just seems too slow probable due to the amount of people passing through the same exchange...BT are updating and adding new exchanges apperently...in 2010
