Pro evo problems

hi just joined this forum so apologies if this has already been answered but did anyone have problems using the wired ps3 controller with pro evo, it wouldnt recognise this for a couple of games for me including wwe 2006, anyone else have problems at all or does new update sort them all out???

Wired controller? Can't say I have used one of them..whats wrong with the wireless one?!

The only problems with the pro evo game itself was that it was a bit laggy, but the new PS3 update should have made it a lot crisper..

I got a wired PS3 controller with the bundle i bought. I just plugged the wired PS3 into the wireless controller port USB1 (PS3 sixaxis) and it picks it up and i had no problems. But if i try to use it when its plugged into the 2ND USB port i had trouble getting it to work.

cheers must try that tonight, have a wireless and wired but for 2 player pro evo need to use ps2 to play it, will try putting it into first usb port tonight and let you know 2moro cheers

surely you mean the "wired" controller is the one that is charging. you only get one usb cable. i've played pro evo online with 2 players using two ps3 wireless controllers no problem. look out for barneyman and i will give you an ac milan v man u style whooping.

its a logitech wired controller that HMV were selling as part of their bundles its a load of s**t to be honest, doesnt seen to pick up any ps2 games when i use it, but hopefully this new update will allow it to happen
