Doesn't sound good man....Have you

A. Checked the disc for scratches
B. Tried a different disc ??

Other than that it sounds like your disc drive is fecked.
If it's still in warranty give Sony and ring and they'll issue you a
replacement or a refurb.

(If its a 60Gb model, you'll most likely get a refurbished replacement)

Bear in mind that if you have any save games you should back them up
onto a memory stick or something BEFORE you send it off.....

Hope this gives ya some insight....

Formatting your C: won't do you any good. Your Blu-Ray drive is fecked
and it'll need to be fixed.

Ring Sony and they'll sort you out. They've a pretty good customer service...

Good observation. We need more members like Pit dammit.

Look at the beauty in that post. It's rational, well thought out, straight to the
point and stunningly constructed. I shall call you George Bernard Pitviper for
the day.

Thanks Madders, although im modest by nature its nice to have a bit of recognition sometimes. I feel that people nowadays dont look a the problem as a whole.

Instead they seem to break things down and make them more complicated than they really are.

I have to say that this particular problem required some thought before i came to a conclusion.

I could tell. It appeared to be an incredibly taxing problem that appeared to have no
apparent solution until your, at first incredulous post, brought a sanity veil
upon this crazy thread. I feel cleansed. I just had a wash you see. Nothing to
do with you post. Soap is great. Not to be confused with Soad you understand.

I agree, i would much rather be in the shower with SOAP rather than SOAD.

I mean....where would you put the drums? Its a disaster waiting to happen, one minute your bending over to get the sponge and WHAM! Youve got the headstock of Malakian's flying V up your bangle!!
