It may look good but I'm still thinking what the hell do you get with it? Sky Movies, Setanta, LFCtv, Sky Sports? I doubt it. And I can guarantee that our Virgin HD+ boxes do a much better job than the PS3

i dont see the point in this?

yeah see what your saying there it wont replace my v+ but ill use this in my room currently theres one v+ box so i think ill try this in my room to replace freeview

I can see the idea in replacing freeview. Hey Xells, did you know that the aerial on your roof needs to be digital to make the freeview box work properly? When this playtv comes out I'm imagining that a lot of people are going to have to upgrade their aerials

i thought this playtv runs thru your net? i hope so coz i run my freeview with a aerial i had to pay for not the home one

i have sky, no sky plus though. and with cumbria being the first part of country to get switched to digital only, i might aswell get it.

Playtv only does freeview channels on digital

All you'll get is Channel 4, BBC, ITV etc.

basically its just using the ps3 as a freeview recorder box, although in hd, some freeview boxes dont run in hd do they?

plus, i like the idea of using a psp aswell. means i can watch football at mates houses while they spend hours trying to connect to xbot live

thats crap you can allready buy freeview boxes that recored i thought this was more like eggbox's tv service
