Default need PS3 Help fast!!

hi my dad who lives in america has bought me a new MGS4 Pack PS3 80GB version and Im worried about the power difference hes not to tecky so he thought it was a good idea but i really wanna play it but im afraid to plug it in.

Does anyone know if i use a uk pc plug will it work or will it explode? do i need a step down power converter?

will work fine, ps3 has universal transformer

no need just get a kettle lead and it'll be fine

ya dont have to get any power converter just get a normal ps3 lead , its the same as one in a kettle, they are used in a lot of things includin radios

American plugs are two pin, uk and ireland are three. For american plugs to work over here without causing an electrical surge you'd need the adaptor things (not power converters) or you'd have to push down the thing in the top hole of the socket with a match and then put it in. I think didnt really think about that just wrote

haha u are pickin up what i'm sayin arse ways, if you loot at the part of the lead that goesinto the ps3 its the same as a kettle lead etc so just get one of them, cost 3 or 4 quid in a hardware or electrical shop, so no need for 2-3 pin converters
