Out of curiousity what did you find wrong with the netgear?.

with linksys I had to reboot once a day or it did not work and with net gear I had major trouble setting up FTP server and gaming online...it just wouldn't let me do it...until I turned off the firewall...then I didnt feel safe.
I heard good thing about dLink and went to buy one and say the Belkin N1 with CD less connection.
it is by far the best router I have ever had...plugged it all in switched it all on and connected ...I have to reboot once every 5 to 6 month...then due to the DHCP re set my ports for the FTP and Gaming online so I made all my IPs static for gaming consoles and my FTP server....set up the ports for the FTP stuck my PS2 in the DMZ...not had any problems since...and you should see my home network...there is a pic of it on this website somewhere...topic about getting a PS3 back online.
the other thing I found with my netgear and my linksys...I could not get reception in the attic with the router in the living room...the Belkin has no trouble...and the additional FON router I have WOW...the signal on that is awesome...you can add the FON firmware to a linksys...so I would recomend that...just don't know if you can upgrade the earial to out put the signal as good as the FON
PS the Fon only allows for one wired connection every thing else has to be wired so I would recommend getting a 4 port switch and a fon router to anyone looking for a new system....the FON router is free with a yearly subscription to PC advisor and allow you to have free wifi any where in the world with other FON users...all BT home hubs are designed around the FON router and its internet sharing capabilities
sounds like a phuqing advert doesn't it...oh well...just shows how impressed I was.
