It appears that European PS3 owners got a little perk from SCEE simply for living in the continient in which Home is being developed. Although there is no official confirmation, several unofficial sources (and this picture which apparently originating from the IGN Insiders board) have led to a single conclusion: It appears as if Sony has met their April deadline by mere hours, as the closed PlayStation Home beta has gone live in Europe!
With only a select few G.A.P. members getting in, we imagine people are staring at their 30 person buddy lists in jealousy as a single one of their friends enjoys the thrills Home has to offer. Americans seem to be particularly jealous right now, as nobody on Western shores has yet confirmed their acceptance as of this writing. However, we've been hearing the date May 1st as confirmation for acceptance into the North American beta, so if that date is indeed true nobody will have to hold their breath for too much longer.
you can belive this matty, if any of you can remember someone called Jamez who used to use these forums, he is beta testing it. He is on my ps3 friends list and under his name yesterday was Home.
no it doesnt. my mate is beta testing it and it just says home below his name...i cant remember seeing any TM.
Has he said if it's living up to the hype?
i asked him earlier what its like so far. He said its been kinda boring so far, mainly cos theres only about 100 people beta testing it. And they are not adding all of the Home features until the next beta. so at the momment its just a basci place to go and chat and hang out until the next beta.
