Going to buy a game

im going to buy a game 2day but i may eat my own words and buy the orange box which iv slated but maybe ill buy uncharted anyway is there anyone with the orange box and whats it like and is this frame rate **** a real prob?

Well I have both the orange box and uncharted so I should be in an excellent position to give you a view of both games. Alas things are never as simple as they should be, I got em both at christmas and havent played em either much. My COD4 addiction is too strong at the moment.

I did play through the whole of portals though which is a hell of a lot of fun, no frame rate problems there. I've also given uncharted a little blast and it's a lot of fun but by little i mean about 20 mins which is neh enough to make a decent assessment.

Personally i'd say you should decide if you want some fps action or a bit of adventure/exploration. if it was my choice between the two i'd go with uncharted first though.

Yeah i agree i would get COD4 if you do not have it.
Uncharted is a good game, but COD4 is better if you can get online.

just having a look at portal and episode 2 iv noticed they have added a blur or trail affect dont like that atall id more go for a crisp look like on the pc

hmm alas I've nothing to compare it to, never played the pc version. now quit giving out and pop a few portals to jump through

o well i just payed 50 in gamestation it was 42.99 pre-owned but i got it new insted if i dont like it game allways if you a good trade price

i still hate them "EA sports its ****ing lame" just my pc runs portal better then this but not episode 2 and im not buying a eggbox for it to run well so ill play this then trade it in for uncharted in a week when iv played it

p.s anyone played TF2 wtf is all that about dark,blury,laggy mess
