COD 6 2009 Infinity back on the case - Page 2

Actually all the previews have been pointing towards WaW being better than COD4.

They say this is the first time Treyarch has beat Infinity Ward. It's COD4 but with enhanced features. They've improved on the ranking system, graphics have been improved and destructible environment have been added. Sounds good to me

CoD 4 was way ahead of its time, though.. like Goldeneye. Every other shooter that came out after CoD got laughed at, except maybe BF.. but it still sucks. I hope this tops CoD4.. but meh, I dunno. WW2 guns are poo.

yeah i reckon WaW will be better gameplay and graphics and all but it'll be let down with ghey guns

the last CoD game Treyarch made got 8ish months in development compared to IW's 2 years for CoD4...

tbh, take away the gameplay and all that's left for CoD4 is the guns and the maps. it's not that hard to top.
just because WaW will have old guns doesn't mean they'll be bad, im looking forwards to pwning Chrispy with a kar98.

hmm, yh...but by taking away the gameplay your taking away alot.
Im not saying WaW a chance, il probs end up buying it and then if im wrong il take it back, but its only my opinion.

the gameplay has always been the same L1 aim, R1 fire.

I hope the reloading isn't all stiff and whatnot, like CoD was the first game that the reloading was so smooth and sexy, don't deny me of that you bastids!

WaW is using the same Engine as COD4 so they can't make too big of a balls
of it. They'll need to get the balance right for the weapons and new perks
though. IW had that pretty much spot on. Treyarch need to follow suit.

The only thing infinity ward did wrong was give the MP5 to much recoil, but as Phatboy said its to balance the game.

Tho im getting bored of Cod4 now, WaW looks like a welcome change.
