Attention: Eircom Customers

just for irish peeps.. anyone using the nwg 3374 netopia router (standard eircom router that comes with their broadband package) will never get nat1 connection on ps3... you will have to buy a new router... got a new one today and first try had a nat one connection and bettuer upload and download speeds

you'll get nat 2 but its still not great... sllighty laggy and plays havoc with the mics

how bad shur... i had a 3 meg with eircom but i turned it on the other day and they gave me 4 an a half extra internets for free so 7an a half megs aint to be laughed at i spose

eircom are a joke denny i bet ur ping is gone up to 100ms now, with all the upgrades they had to use high interleaving and its fookin up a lot of peeps connection

man I feel so cheated by my ISP...I only get upto 2Mb with unlimited downloads

mind you for £10 a month for internet and phone including line rental, I shouldn't complain...and £7.50 a month extra I get free call at anytime.

the reason I feel cheated is I pay more for a 2mb connection than I would for a 10mb connection...but if I upgrade I lose my loyalty bonus and it goes up to £35 a month for both...guess I will live with it.

eh why dont you just hard wire it to your modem, your nat 1 and you dont have to pish off your friends with discons and bad hset con he..o i c,,nt h,r, yo, t. g.od sort of thing.

his provider is wireless not his connection from router to ps3

i know him from another site i think i told him bout here and he means trouble with the coms thats y its wrote that way, i bet most people with problems with comms have either nat3 or the proper ports arent opened
