Yep....washy speaks the truth.
The Xenos GPU is actually quite a bit more powerful than the RSX chip but the Cell Broadband engine is arguably more powerful than the Xenos CPU.
Both CPU's clock in at 3.2 Ghz each while the Cell can stretch to about 3.6Ghz with the new Cell's (Not the ones in the Ps3) can stretch to 4.8 Ghz.
But the Cell Broadband engine was not made for gaming.It was made for media capabilities, more specifically Blu-Ray.
No console is more powerful than the other.They both average out the same.
Ps3 has better CPU while 360 has better GPU
Ps3 has more disc storage while 360 has more memory storage
