it all depends on what skills you have equipped, if you have the Sniper Skill, and the Quarterback skill (grenade throwing) And you always use Assault rifles, and never use grenades you will never rank up...
When i first started i liked the assault rifles, so put skills up on the sniper to help improve sniping in certain situations, i never ranked up. Now all i use is the sniper and im a level 3 sniper and a level 5 player.
