does the connection drop when connect with a CAT5 cable...if not then yeah I would agree its a faulty wife card with in the PS3....but I don't have that much information to go on.

I think my advice was pretty sound considering the information given

to get a proper assessment I would need

to know the router he is currently using as he mention two....what modem he is using....what devices he has connected to it and how (wifi or cat5)...
how often the disconnection occurs... and where the disconnection occurs

he seemed to mention the disconnection occurs between the router and he internet in his last post...hence my view on a faulty router,
any other reason would disconnect the device from the router
