is it the router that keeps disconnecting or the PS3.

download a program called network magic for your PC the bog standard version is free but it comes with a 30 day trial of the full version this can help highlight any problems with in your network.

if I was you I would hard reset my router back to default setting and delete all conection on any devices that connect to it, then re conect them all via a wired connection to the router ensure the every thing works fine with a wired connection and fresh installs, then I would start going wireless once I knew every thing function with wires, if faults develop then, my guess is you are using a router that can not send a signal strang enough to the PS3 thus causing disconnection. you should get a N1 router if that is the case...unless that is what you have.

aslo cordless phones in the house interfere with wifi signals so changing your phones to croded may help too
