Its a new feature that has been added the BF series, if you have seen any of my old videos of BF2MC you will notice when you knife some one it is just a normal kill, HazzA [Knife] Whoever etc, but on BFBC as you saw in the video when you knife someone just after you see the Dog Tags of the player who knifed drop down at the top of your screen. Then in game when you view someone stats you will be able to see what players they have knifed etc, it doesn't really serve any purpose other than bragging rights over other players so you can say "I have your tags
" I just think its a nice addition to the game and allows you to build up a nice collection of tags..if your good
